How can I prevent spilling the menstrual cup when taking it out?
Our Answer
What our doctors say
Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to menstrual cup removal! Start with a good grip, and pinch the cup to break the suction. Then use your pelvic muscles to help lower the cup and push it out. To help prevent spillage tilt the cup slightly so that one half of the rim comes out first then tilt the other way to remove the other half. Once the cup is out, slowly tip the blood into the toilet. Wash and you're DONE!
